Here is a look at Rachel & Blake’s Briarwood Inn Wedding in Golden, Colorado
I love morning weddings. They usually consist of a more intimate atmosphere, beautiful light, mimosas and brunch (my favorite kind of meal)! Rachel & Blake’s wedding had all of that plus donut’s as their cake! It was perfect!
It seemed like fate that the USA Pro cycling challenge would be coming through Golden later in the afternoon of Rachel and Blake’s morning wedding. With all of the main streets blocked off it made for an empty town on what usually would have been a busy Sunday morning. We had uninterrupted access to the iconic “Welcome to Golden” sign and free reign around the river behind the Golden Hotel where the couple got ready on the morning of their wedding.
The Briarwood Inn was a perfect setting for their vows and their intimate reception. They each asked their sisters to stand beside them during their ceremony. Their cocktail hour had a bloody mary bar with pastries then a seated brunch for the reception. Donut’s might be my all time favorite treat and I loved that they used them for their cake. It was a wonderful day!
