Rebecca & Ian’s Nestldown wedding in Los Gatos, California was truly something out of a fairytale. Surrounded by towering redwoods, their ceremony was serene, heartfelt, and beautifully intimate—an unforgettable setting that perfectly reflected their deep connection and love for nature.
Nestldown has been a bucket list venue for me to photograph/film a wedding at and it did not disappoint. This day showcased everything that makes it so special. It’s location being surrounded by redwood trees yet their property is gorgeously manicured. With Caitlin McDonald Events at the helm, the entire day unfolded with elegance and ease. From the moment guests arrived, they were immersed in the charm and tranquility of the forested landscape.
Following the ceremony, guests were led to a breathtaking al fresco dinner in the garden. The setting sun filtered through the trees, casting golden light across long, beautifully set tables adorned with lush floral arrangements by Amy West Floral. Each detail was thoughtfully curated—from the romantic blooms to the seamless design that wove the natural beauty of the venue into every moment.
Le Papillon Catering served an exquisite meal that left everyone raving, while rentals from Bright Event Rentals and Napa Valley Linens added just the right touch of sophistication and comfort. As night fell, guests moved in to the barn which was a lively celebration space. Thanks to Los Gatos DJ Company, the dance floor stayed packed all evening, with laughter, joy, and some seriously good moves lighting up the night.
