There are few venues as timeless and captivating as a Kohl Mansion wedding, and Erika & Jonathan’s day was the perfect celebration to showcase its beauty. Surrounded by ivy-covered walls, historic architecture, and the crispness of autumn air, their day felt like stepping into a storybook.
Designed flawlessly by Caitlin McDonald Events, every detail carried intention and artistry. Rich fall tones of deep burgundy, rust, amber, and gold layered seamlessly throughout the décor, creating an atmosphere that was both warm and refined. Amy West Floral brought the design to life with arrangements that overflowed with lush seasonal blooms, cascading textures, and earthy accents that mirrored the magic of autumn itself. From the ceremony arch adorned in florals to the intimate reception tables, every element felt abundant yet natural.
Erika was radiant in her hand painted gown, her joy undeniable as she walked down the aisle toward Jonathan. Their ceremony was heartfelt and personal, filled with laughter, tears, and the kind of love that feels contagious. Guests gathered in the mansion’s historic halls afterward, where candlelight and flowers transformed the space into something deeply romantic.
One of my favorite moments to capture was Erika & Jonathan’s portraits in the garden. The late afternoon light filtered through the trees, highlighting the rich colors of the season and the pure joy they shared together. Kohl Mansion’s timeless backdrop paired with their modern love story was truly a dream to photograph.
